When water is used from ground water source it contains suspended solids, sometimes underground water is also containing insoluble silica such insoluble and suspended impurities are to be removed for end use . This problem can be solved by using Pressure sand filter and Activated Carbon Filter. Pressure sand filter is also used in swimming pool filteration.
